Arrange your foreign cash or traveller's cheques from the comfort of your home or office through ExpressFX. Simply:

• Choose the foreign currencies/traveller's cheques you need
• Select the Commonwealth Bank branch from which to collect them
• Make your payment via BPAY^®
• Collect your order - available within 72 hours

 

Traveller's cash

A traveller's cash card offers you the security of traveller's cheques with the convenience of a debit card. You can withdraw your cash from over a million Cirrus ATMs worldwide, and with no personal details or signature panel on the card, traveller's cash is a secure way to access your money overseas. It's prepaid, plus you lock in the exchange rate on the purchase date so you know exactly how much you have to spend. Credit cards

Both our Gold and Platinum credit cards provide travel-related benefits. Buy your travel tickets with your Commonwealth Bank Platinum card or Gold card and you'll receive free comprehensive travel insurance and free travel accident insurance up to $250,000 for your trip (conditions apply).

Accessing your money overseas

Your Commonwealth Bank Keycard provides direct access to your funds in over 80 countries through the Maestro and Cirrus electronic networks.

Manage your money with NetBank

Internet banking via NetBank lets you transfer funds to people overseas, or to your Keycard-linked account while you're away. You can also do all your regular internet banking such as viewing and paying bills using BPAY^® and BPAY View^TM wherever you are in the world.
