NetBank features

NetBank is built to be easy to use. It is highly accessible and has been designed with the widest range of customers in mind. Its powerful features allow you to conduct virtually all of your day-to-day banking requirements in the comfort of your own home. 

View balances and review transactions

• View up-to-date account balances for NetBank linked accounts, including savings accounts, credit card accounts, home loans, term deposits, passbook accounts and personal loans.
• Review up to the last 2 years worth of transactions for your linked statement accounts.
• Review up to the last 2 years worth of transactions on your linked personal loan, home loan and Mortgage Interest Saver account.
• Review up to the last 2 years worth of transactions for your linked credit cards.
• View up to 7 years of statements for most of your linked transaction, savings, credit card, home loan and personal loan accounts

 Commonwealth Awards

• View your Commonwealth Awards points balance online.
• Redeem Commonwealth Awards points and review your last 10 Commonwealth Awards transactions via our secure Commonwealth Awards website (access to the Commonwealth Awards website is via NetBank).

 Pay bills

• Pay your bills using BPAY to over 14,000 organisations.
• View and pay your bills online using BPAY View.
• Schedule bill payments for a future date.
• View past bill payments.

 Transfer money

• Transfer money to linked Commonwealth Bank accounts, including savings accounts, credit card accounts, home loans and personal loans.
• Transfer money to selected unlinked Commonwealth Bank accounts e.g. passbook accounts, home loans and personal loans.
• Transfer money to selected accounts at other Australian financial institutions.
• Schedule money transfers for a future date.
• Establish transfer groups for future and regular payments (e.g. salary disbursement).
• Import payment files (e.g. payroll files).
• Make multiple transfers from a single NetBank page.
• Transfer money to overseas accounts.

 Services

• Request to stop receieving paper statements for your transaction and savings accounts.
• Order traveller's cash online. The easy, secure way to access cash when overseas, traveller's cash is a prepaid card available in different currencies allowing you to lock in your exchange rate up front.
• Order a cheque book. You can only order cheque books for accounts linked to NetBank (excluding credit cards, home loans and personal loans) where a cheque book has been previously issued.
• You may place stops on your personal cheques. This service enables you to stop a single cheque or a range of cheques. You can also remove the stop you have previously placed on a cheque.
• Register for Secure Internet Shopping for added confidence when you shop online.

 Print and export your financial records

• Order new statements (excluding credit cards, home loans and personal loans).
• Print directly from NetBank, including copies of past statements.
• Save copies of your statements on your computer or other storage device.
• Export transaction details to other applications. Export formats supported are Microsoft Money, Quicken (Aus and USA), MYOB, Comma Separated Values (CSV) (e.g. Microsoft Excel) and plain text.

 Access for the under 16s

• NetBank also offers enquiry-only access for under 16 year olds with a Youthsaver account with parental consent. This gives under 16 year olds the opportunity to monitor their savings online while still allowing their parent or guardian to maintain control of their account.
